Back when I was younger I wished for the same things. I wanted to be the pretty princess, kind in all her perfection. I remember brushing my hair and looking out the window, dreaming that I would someday meet a prince.

Well, that plan failed.

I'm stuck with myself in all my deformities, imperfections, and confusion... But, I'm content, even if I don't find a prince.. or end up sweeping a princess off her feet instead.

@Jump: It's funny how different things turn out to be compared to what we dreamt and thought it would.

There's always some things a person like about zirself and some things they dislike.

You know what feels great? (Might be unrelated to this, but just thought I'd mention it) To not compare myself to other people. Didn't realize I had stopped doing that at all times, until maybe a week ago.

@JokerMann: I think it's best if we just live, without forcing ourselves into these ideals we have of the world and what we should be. I'm starting to accept those parts of myself I've been dissatisfied with, and to love those I liked.

It's difficult to stop comparing yourself to others, especially when people constantly compare themselves to you. I understand what you mean though. There have been brief moments where nothing in the world mattered. I feel that in those few seconds, no has to be anything.

idk, my thought process is kinda all over the place.

@Jump: You're absolutely right, and I agree. It's great that you're starting to accept and like things about yourself, it really is.

I guess one never completely stop doing it, it just increases for some.
Can't say I dislike your thought everywhere, can be pretty nice even if it for the other person can be a bit chaotic.
Soon I cannot understand what I am writing about, haha.
